Dominican Encounter

The Waterloo Catholic District School Board has been supporting a trip for students to the Dominican Republic for the past few years. This experience is called “Dominican Encounters”.   See the link below that outlines, in more detail, where the students visit and what happens while they are there. This opportunity exposes students and staff participants to a rich experience of the gospel that has often led to life changing views of self and the world, and a deep awareness of our responsibility to act locally and globally as responsible citizens rooted in the gospel’s preferential option for the poor.
