Dear Parents of the Monsignor Doyle Community:
On behalf of the entire staff at Monsignor Doyle Catholic Secondary School we want to thank you for all of your efforts to support your child’s learning over the last 7 weeks. We know that this hasn’t always been easy, but your support is greatly appreciated.
At this point, we only have 5 weeks left in the school year. With time this short, it is important that we all continue to encourage and support our students to continue their studies to the best of there ability. Some students may feel that they have already earned their credit and so are less likely to engage in their studies. While it may be true that they have acquired the credit, those who stop completing work will miss out on learning valuable skills and content that will prepare them for the Fall. This may leave them struggling in their new courses since they will not be fully prepared with the skills to move their studies to the next level of complexity. The time they spend over the next 5 weeks working on their courses will save them a great deal of difficulty and stress in the Fall. It is time well invested in their own future success.
If you have any concerns, questions or requests for assistance, please feel free to contact your child’s Guidance Councillor, Teacher or Administrator. We are all here to support you.
