• The spread of COVID-19 has escalated rapidly in Waterloo Region.  Residents should consider COVID-19 to be widely circulating in our community.
  • All residents are advised to stay home and only go out for essential purposes which would include going to work, school, getting groceries, keeping medical appointments or exercising outdoors.
  • We need to limit our social interactions to only those within our households which can include one or two essential caregivers or essential supports for someone who is living alone.
  • Avoid social interactions with friends, coworkers and extended family outside of your household.
  • How we interact socially will determine if we control COVID-19 or if it controls us.  Throughout this pandemic, Waterloo Region residents have shown they are willing to step up and do what it takes to beat COVID-19 and help protect one another.
