Dear parents/guardians,
I can’t believe that the end of June is upon us and that the students and staff are starting their summer break. We have made it to the end of another highly successful school year. I know that we did not arrive here without considerable work, effort and sacrifice. I am so very pleased that we are ending the school year hope-filled, and that September will bring an even more traditional school year for 2022/2023.
I want to congratulate our graduating class of 2022 on attaining their Ontario Secondary School diploma. Mustangs, you have had to endure a challenging two and half years during your time here at Monsignor Doyle. Challenging times can seem insurmountable at times but also provide opportunities for great growth. I personally have seen this growth in the students. I want to acknowledge the staff’s hard work and dedication at Monsignor Doyle as they navigated the effects of a global pandemic on education to provide your child with every opportunity to meet their educational goals.
I want to wish our departing students all the very best in their next phase of life, whether they are heading to the world of work, an apprenticeship, or a post-secondary institution. As we say around here, “Once a Mustang, always a Mustang!”. Good luck! I also want to thank the parents/guardians of the graduating students. It has been an honour to serve you and your children.
Finally, on behalf of Mrs. Monica Carlin, Mr. Michael Sullivan and myself, we want to wish you and your family a very safe and rest-filled summer with family and friends.
Sincerely,
Lou Bellini – Principal
